Don’t Look Back! – your Lion Bites word for today

“Don’t look back! Don’t look back!” says the Lord. “The past is only part of who and what you are today; don’t park there as there’s so much more! This journey is not for the faint hearted; keep Philippians 4:13 in your mind – ‘I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.’ Don’t disqualify yourself with stinking thinking, but begin to see yourself as I see you and not as you see yourself. I see you as the mighty warrior, the overcomer and the child of The King of Kings – are you getting the message? Are you ready for the adventure of your life with me, or do you want to be safe and park here? I love my children even when they decide to park, but I have so much more for you if you’ll just trust me and walk with me!”
* Give Father God permission to take you on the journey of your life with Him.
* Shake off any of the things that are holding you back from moving forward.
* Jump into His arms and hold on!

I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: by no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward – to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
