Tend to Your Roots

“My child, people have begun to do what is right in their own eyes and focus on their appearance more than on Me. Unknowingly they have uprooted themselves from Me by trying to live on yesterday’s manna and past testimonies. I have a fresh Word and fresh testimony for you today!” says the Spirit of the Lord.

“Oh, My people – return to Me and tend to your roots in Me before outward appearance and desires. Remember I am the source of life and nourishment. I am the One who waters, prunes, and causes fruit to burst forth.

Drink deep of the living waters I have for you. Rest in My word and in My presence. Delight in the fruit I have for you, the testimonies waiting for you.”

Activation: Ask the Lord where you may have abandoned Him or dug your own wells apart from Him. Then tend to your roots by repenting and planting yourself in His Spirit, and deeply in His Word. Commit to deepening your walk with Him. Ask Yahweh to fill you to overflowing. Thank the Lord for His faithfulness to you.

Psalm 1:1-3 (ESV) “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
